INTERESTING JOB
When I was 13, I spent the summer helping install septic tanks. I was the smallest member of the crew, therefore my job was to seal the inside of the new concrete tanks.
EDUCATIONAL JOB
I worked at a small-town hardware store with my dad from ages 15-18, I learned a lot about all aspects of residential construction. My dad and the “old-timers” in that hardware store taught me a lot about life.
AEC INDUSTRY
While attending college for accounting, I started working for an engineering firm as a “plan runner”. At 18 years old, I quickly realized I liked working for the engineering firm more than I liked accounting.

SELF ADVICE
If I could give my younger self advice, it would be: Don’t put off being with the people you love, thinking you will have more time later. The best life you can enjoy is the one you can live today. Just make it happen.
